Kayaking Courses 2 - 7 days
Learn to enjoy the thrill of white water kayaking! We run both beginners and intermediate courses at international standards so that you can develop your paddling skills.
STEP 1 - 2 days
If you have never tried white water kayaking this is a great start! We begin with the basics in the pool, covering how to get in and out of the boat, basic paddling and rescue techniques. Then we move to the river to train ferry gliding and getting in and out of eddies. By the end of the second day you should be able to paddle class II white water.
STEP 2 - 2 days
If you have some experience paddling, but never been in big volume rivers or haven't paddled in a while this two days course is for you. We train your eskimo-rolls, develop your paddling- and rescue techniques and paddle class III white water runs. The course also provides an introduction to surfing and play boating.
STEP 3 - 3 days
Building on STEP 2 the last three days, we develop your paddling further through personal coaching. We focus on river running, incl. scouting rapids, reading water, leading and practicing river communication. We paddle class III+ (easy IV) and focus on developing each individual into a confident kayaker.
When we are not on the river, you can enjoy our beach side camp with a swim in the pool, playing beach volleyball or just relaxing with a good book. We will serve you organic, locally grown Nepali food, tea and coffee is on the house.
- Add a river expedition in nearby rivers to your course. The trips are raft- or self supported and we set up camp on the riverbanks. Read more here.
