| Rafting,
Kayaking & Canyoning - 3 days action package |
| During
three actionfilled days in The Royal Beach eco-adventure camp you get to
experience the best of our activities: rafting, kayaking and canyoning! |
| Itinerary: |
Day
1: Rafting
You leave Katmandu or Pokhara on tourist bus in the morning
and head to the Royal Beach Camp. The journey takes about 3-4
hours. When you get to the camp we have a cup of coffee and
a briefing for the next few days. After lunch we raft the Trisuli
River and punch some class III -IV challenging white water,
including rapids like Ladies delight, Monsoon, Upset and Surprise!
We do a approx. 20 km section down to the Kuringhat. We return
to the camp on local transport and spend the night at the Royal
Beach Camp. |
Day
2: Canyoning
After breakfast we trek for 1½ hour from the camp to
the Change Canyon. We reach the top of a series of beautiful,
untouched waterfalls and with the help of harnesses and ropes
we abseil down through the canyon. At one point we pass through
a rock cave. We stop to eat our pick-nick lunch on a rock shelf
on the way down. A real thrill, as well as a beautiful nature
experience! We spend the night at the Camp. The early evening
can be spent with volleyboll at the beach, a quite yogasection
or just relaxing in the bar. The kitchen then serves us a delicious
dinner. |
Day
3: Kayaking
If you have never tried white water kayaking this is where it
starts! We begin with the basics, depending on the level of
your kayaking experience. We cover how to get in and out of
the boat, basic paddling and rescue techniques. We train ferry
glide (crossing the river) and getting in and out of eddies.
You can also try the Eskimo-roll. After lunch we paddle some
white water! In the late afternoon you return to the camp to
collect your bags, and then you head towards your next destination.
Busses takes you to either Kathmandu or Pokhara. There is also
off course an option to stay on in camp and try any of or other
activities, or sign up for a kayaing course. |
